I am participating on a panel discussion about statistical consulting. The organizer suggested several questions that we might want to tackle if there are not that many questions from the audience. I thought they were pretty interesting questions.

  1. What constitutes a successful cross disciplinary collaboration?
  2. What is your biggest challenge in working collaboratively and how do you address that challenge?
  3. What kind of non-statistical training helped you in your consulting?
  4. What is the one thing you needed to know to be a successful consultant that you did not learn in grad school?
