Seminar #63: Statistical Evidence. Who Was Left Out?
This seminar gives you the tools to critically assess the exclusions, and dropouts in a research study so you can decide how readily you can generalize the results of this research to your patients.
In this class you will learn how to:
- assess the impact of dropouts in a research study;
- describe how intention to treat is used in studies with compliance issues; and
- explain how the ethical need for informed consent research can limit generalizability.
This class qualifies for 1 IRB Education Credit (IRBEC).
